การได้มาเยือน Maru Dessert House บนนั้นชั้น 55 ของอาคารเอ็มไพร์ ทาวเวอร์ ถือเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ผมประทับใจมาก เพราะไม่ใช่แค่ได้ลิ้มรสของหวานคุณภาพสูง แต่ยังได้สัมผัสกับบรรยากาศที่สงบและออกแบบอย่างพิถีพิถัน ด้วยแสงธรรมชาติที่ลอดผ่านกระจกบานใหญ่ มันทำให้พื้นที่ร้านดูโปร่งโล่งและนุ่มนวล อีกสิ่งที่ผมชอบมากคือการจัดวางที่นั่งที่หลากหลาย มีทั้งมุมโซฟานุ่ม ๆ สำหรับนั่งพักผ่อนชมวิวสวย ๆ ของเมือง และมุมทำงานที่สะดวกสบายพร้อมปลั๊กไฟ เหมาะกับคนที่มาใช้เวลานาน จะนั่งทำงานหรืออ่านหนังสือก็ทำได้ดี สำหรับเมนูพาเฟ่ต์ที่นี่ ถือเป็นการผสมผสานรสชาติหวานกำลังดี ทำให้ไม่เลี่ยนจนเกินไป และ Homemade Fresh Chocolate เครื่องดื่มที่ผมชอบมากเพราะใช้วัตถุดิบสดใหม่ รสหอมมันเข้มข้น แถมของหวานและเครื่องดื่มยังตกแต่งดูดี ทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนกำลังทานอาหารศิลปะเล็ก ๆ ที่ส่งผ่านความตั้งใจของผู้สร้างสรรค์ สิ่งที่น่าประทับใจอีกอย่างคือ มาสังเกตเห็นตัวการ์ตูนสีขาวน่ารักที่ซ่อนอยู่ตามมุมต่าง ๆ ของร้าน สร้างบรรยากาศสดใสร่าเริง แม้ว่าจะเป็นร้านที่ตั้งอยู่สูงและสงบ แต่มุกเล็ก ๆ เหล่านี้ทำให้รู้สึกอบอุ่นและมีชีวิตชีวา เวลาที่ผมแนะนำให้มา คือช่วงประมาณ 17:00 น. เพราะจะได้เห็นแสงทองอ่อน ๆ ของพระอาทิตย์ตกดินไปพร้อมกับวิวแสงไฟในเมืองที่เริ่มสว่างขึ้น บรรยากาศนี้ทำให้การนั่งพักผ่อนในร้านดูพิเศษมากขึ้นและมีเสน่ห์แบบมินิมอลที่ลงตัวสุด ๆ ทั้งการเดินทางที่สะดวกด้วยรถไฟฟ้า BTS สถานีช่องนนทรี และทำเลที่ตั้งบนสกายไลน์ย่านสาทร ทำให้ Maru Dessert House เป็นจุดหมายของคนชอบคาเฟ่มินิมอลที่อยากพักผ่อนพร้อมชมวิวกรุงเทพฯ สวย ๆ อย่างแท้จริง
