The Emerald Glass, or Mahamani Rat Buddha, is a Buddha statue of Thailand, enshrined at the Sri Rat Prophet Rama Temple, commonly called the Temple of Kaew, in the Great Palace, Bangkok. The temple was built in 1784 by the 1st reign to enshrine the Emerald Glass and is the place of the Royal Ceremony. The Emerald Glass is a Buddha statue of Pang meditation, diamond meditation, carved from a single solid green jade with seasonal accessories.
