Spend the morning with me after I dropped the kids off at school. 9 days until my scheduled c section. #morningroutine #momrant #mom #teenagers #wife
Managing the morning as a mother of three isn't easy, especially when you’re nine months pregnant and preparing for a scheduled C-section. I’ve found that establishing a morning routine really helps maintain some sense of order amidst the chaos. After dropping the kids off at school, it’s important to carve out a little time for myself, whether that’s enjoying a quick breakfast or just sitting down with a snack to recharge. Laundry often feels like a never-ending chore, but delegating some of the tasks to family members not only lightens the load but also encourages shared responsibility. This delegation is vital in my daily workflow, keeping the house running smoothly while I focus on my health and the upcoming delivery. Being a mom to teenagers adds another layer of complexity to my mornings. Their schedules and attitudes require patience and flexibility, but sharing little moments, like preparing breakfast or chatting about their day, strengthens our connection. Balancing the roles of wife and mom while preparing for a C-section can feel overwhelming, but embracing these moments with gratitude helps me keep perspective. Morning routines aren’t just about tasks—they’re about managing stress and creating space for connection and self-care before a big life event.
