Hey everyone! So many of you have asked what a typical day looks like for me when I'm just at home, so I decided to put together a little 'daily vlog' in written form today. It's not always super exciting, but I find so much joy in my routine and making the most of my space. My mornings usually kick off around 7 AM. First things first, a big glass of water to rehydrate. Then, I head straight to the kitchen to brew some coffee – that rich aroma just makes the day feel official! While it's brewing, I'll often do a quick 10-minute stretch or some light yoga to get my body moving. It really helps shake off the sleepiness and sets a positive tone. Breakfast is usually something quick and healthy, like oatmeal with berries or a smoothie. I love sitting by the window, catching up on a podcast or just enjoying the quiet before the day gets too busy. Sometimes, I'll do a bit of journaling to clear my head and set intentions for the day. After breakfast, it's time to tackle some tasks. If I'm working from home, I'll dive into emails and projects. I try to schedule my most demanding tasks for the morning when my energy levels are highest. If it's a day off, I might spend time on creative hobbies, like painting or reading a book. I also make sure to get some natural light by taking short breaks on my balcony or by an open window. Lunch is usually light – maybe a big salad or some leftovers from dinner the night before. I try to step away from my screen during lunch to fully recharge. The afternoon can vary. Sometimes it's dedicated to errands, like grocery shopping, which feels like an adventure sometimes! Other days, it’s about getting active. My gym routine is a big part of my well-being, so even if I'm not physically at the gym, I'll often do an at-home workout. This could be a HIIT session, a dance workout from YouTube, or focusing on strength training with my resistance bands. It's all about keeping that energy up and feeling strong. Later in the afternoon, I like to wind down a bit. This might involve tidying up my space, listening to music, or maybe even a little bit of online learning. I cherish this time to myself. As evening approaches, I start thinking about dinner. I enjoy cooking, so I'll put on some music and try out a new recipe or cook a comforting favorite. Sharing a meal (even if it's just with myself or a pet!) is such a nice way to end the active part of the day. My evenings are all about relaxation. I love unwinding with a good book, watching a documentary, or having a video call with friends or family. Before bed, I have a simple routine: a warm shower, skincare, and then I try to put my phone away at least 30 minutes before I want to sleep. I find this really helps me get better quality rest.
