Tigger cuteness

Hey everyone! 👋 You know how much I love all things Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger has always been one of my absolute favorites. His boundless energy and infectious laugh just make me smile! I used to think drawing characters like him was super intimidating, but I recently challenged myself to try some Tigger drawings, and guess what? It's actually really fun and totally doable, even if you're not an art pro! I wanted to share a little guide based on what I've learned to help you create your own adorable Tigger sketches. Trust me, seeing your favorite bouncy friend come to life on paper is incredibly rewarding! First off, don't worry about perfection. The key is to start with basic shapes. Think circles and ovals! For Tigger, I usually begin with a large oval for his body, and a smaller circle on top for his head. They're usually wavy and irregular, running across his back, tail, and limbs. I find it easiest to sketch them lightly first and then darken them. His tail is another big part of his personality – long, bouncy, and striped! I usually draw it in a big, joyful curve. For his limbs, think about his dynamic poses. He's always ready to bounce! Start with simple stick figures or basic shapes to get the pose right before adding muscle and fur detail. His paws are quite chunky and rounded. My personal tips for making your Tigger drawings extra special: Embrace the Bounce: Tigger is all about movement. Try to give your drawing a sense of action, even if he's just standing. A slight tilt, a raised paw, or a curved tail can do wonders. Facial Expressions: His expressions are key to his charm. Practice drawing different smiles, surprised looks, or his signature happy bounce face. Materials: You don't need fancy art supplies! I often just use a pencil, an eraser, and some colored pencils or markers. Orange, black, and a touch of light yellow for his belly are essential. Reference Photos: Don't be afraid to look at pictures of Tigger from the movies or books. They're fantastic for getting the proportions and details right.
