My Mini Vintage Watch Collection ✨🥰
Follow me as I grow my vintage watch collection! After getting hooked in Japan, I’ve been on the lookout for unique pieces. I went early to the @nakedglory boutique fairs as the queues start crazy early — my husband reached at 9 AM and was already second in line. We waited together with breakfast and chatted with other vintage watch fans.
When the doors opened, I found the watch I wanted, then spotted another black-dial piece that suited me even more. My husband also picked out an ’80s Gold Seiko for me, so I ended up adding two Gold watches to my collection🥰 Fellow queue mates for their pieces they loved as well!
Very interesting experience!
Exploring vintage watches has been such an enriching experience, especially when focusing on unique timepieces like the ’80s Gold Seiko. From my own experience, attending boutique fairs early is crucial — arriving before the crowds means better chances of finding rare and well-preserved watches. For women interested in vintage watches, I found that styles like dainty oval watches or those with distinctive black dials add an elegant touch to any collection. Seiko watches for women, particularly vintage models, offer great craftsmanship and timeless appeal, making them worthy investments. One tip I’ve learned is to research thoroughly before purchasing. It’s helpful to understand how to check the authenticity of watches, especially brands like Citizen or Seiko, to avoid replicas. Engaging with other vintage watch collectors, whether at fairs or online communities, enriches the experience by sharing insights and spotting trends. Additionally, choosing pieces with unique features such as mini second dials or green dial golden watches can enhance your collection's diversity. Remember, the joy is in the hunt and the story behind each watch. My journey began in Japan, and now in Singapore, each watch I’ve added tells its own story. For anyone starting out, focus on what appeals most to you, whether it’s the style, era, or brand, and don’t hesitate to connect with fellow enthusiasts who share your passion.
