The diagnosis was shocking, but I found strength in my support system, especially after getting engaged. Rehabilitation was grueling; after three years, I could finally navigate life in a wheelchair. Each day was a testament to resilience. I remember the first day I stood up with help, an emotional triumph. With determination, I trained harder, often tossing and turning at night, consumed by the fear of reverting to my previous state. But I pressed on, celebrating small victories—like walking slowly yet purposefully, proving that progress is still possible. This journey has taught me that while challenges may seem insurmountable, with grit and support, one can reclaim their path. Our camping trips now serve as a reminder of life's beautiful moments and the importance of never stepping back, no matter how slow the pace of progress may be.
