Sunday prep to make Monday suck less

Here are all the “ingredients” I prepped on Sunday to make the week easier.

1. Seasoned ground beef with sauce which can be used with rice, pasta, stir fry etc.,

2.Hard boiled eggs for egg salads and snacks

3. Cooked sweet potatoes to add to meals for the family

4. Home made chicken nuggets (potato, zucchini and chicken) to get nutrition into the picky eater

5. Porridge for my baby that I added some sweet potatoes to since I was already making some

One of my favorite staples is seasoned ground beef with sauce—it pairs well with rice, pasta, or stir-fry dishes and can be quickly reheated for a satisfying meal. Hard boiled eggs are a fantastic snack or base for egg salads, offering a quick protein boost. I also always cook extra sweet potatoes because they’re nutritious and can be added to various meals for the whole family. Homemade chicken nuggets made with potato, zucchini, and chicken are perfect for picky eaters, making sure they get their nutrients without complaints. For the baby, I prepare porridge adding in some sweet potatoes for extra flavor and nutrition, which makes feeding times smoother. The key is making ingredients that are flexible enough to be used in multiple dishes, saving me time and keeping meals fresh and interesting all week long. I highly recommend starting small with a few versatile prepped ingredients and building up your Sunday routine from there. It really makes Monday and the rest of the week less overwhelming and leaves more time for family and self-care.
