Tell your stories

🚨The algorithm favors controversial and outrageous stories. Like a driver slowing down to gawk at a wreck on the highway, we, too, are guilty of slowing down to watch the comment section of a story or take the rage bait.

Instead, let’s remember Psalm 107:2 NIV,

📓“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,”

❤️You have stories that can shine a light in a dark world and point people to Jesus. God has given us the tools and the opportunities. Light always finds a way through every crack. Add prayer to your efforts and watch what God can do with you!

However, I’ve found that sharing heartfelt, genuine stories about faith and redemption can be equally powerful—if not more so. From personal experience, telling stories that reflect hope and transformation allows a light to shine through the cracks of a hard world. The reminder from Psalm 107:2, "Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe," resonates deeply with me. It encourages us to speak about God’s work in our lives, not just for ourselves but to inspire others. When I started sharing my testimony within my community, I noticed how it brought people closer together and opened doors for meaningful conversations about faith. Prayer is a crucial part of this process; acting in faith while praying for guidance magnifies the impact. Our stories are not just memories but testimonies of God’s presence and power. The hashtag #ShineYourLight embodies this mission—encouraging more believers to share their journey and stand as witnesses in their circles. Moreover, steering away from the chaos of outrage and instead focusing on uplifting testimonies can build a supportive environment online and offline. These stories have the power to counter negativity and bring hope where it is most needed. Each personal account adds another ray of light, collectively dispelling darkness and showcasing the transformative power of faith.
