Skyflyers in BKK, my POV ✨

Here’s my personal experience taking the Skyflyers in BKK! I didn’t find much info on this online before my ride so i hope this post gives more info to anyone who needs it! 🤗

TB to 22nd June 2026, Monday.

Skyflyers is located in Asiatique the Riverfront.

I booked the tickets via Klook on the day itself at around 4pm for the 5.30pm slot as wanted to make sure weather was good before heading thr!

💰: SGD 24.40 for 2 pax

We reached Asiatique at around 5.15pm then we walked over to the Skyflyers area.

Went to rent the 360insta camera which is at the 2nd level where the Skyflyers is. (Picture 2️⃣) this photo was taken at 6.11pm after our ride! The Q got longer over time!

Rental for the 360insta camera💰:250฿

The timing when we went there was no Q! So we went str to the counter to rent it & paid using youtrip card.

There is 2 rental option: (Picture 3️⃣)

1) Single lense for like taking selfies/photos/videos etc

2) 360 mode for like video taking

We choose the 2nd option cos wanted to try the 360 function!

You can also use yr own 360 camera if you have ah bud must have strap if nt they won’t allow!

At the counter there is 2 lanes, one is for rental & another is for whn you are done w using the 360 camera you Q thr for them to port the photos/videos to yr phone.

After payment the staff told us to download the insta360 app, OMG i didn’t know downloading the app will take so long eh, the downloading used alot of data which made it even slower cos data is used up…… which means slower data. Luckily mum tried using hers to download & it was faster than mine but it took almost 30 mins to download eh.

Before that i even went to the staff to ask if there is any wifi we can connect to download the app cos my data is almost used up, she say no.. lolol. I also saw other ppl just sitting around waiting for the app to be downloaded to their phone.

So TIP: pls download the app at home beforehand if you want to rent the insta360 for a more seamless process!

If downloaded beforehand thn it’s super fast! After you use finish the insta360 camera just pass to the staff at the other lane in the same counter then they help to download it onto yr phone app!

Picture 4️⃣ & 5️⃣:

Thr is these lockers available for free! To put yr items in before the ride. Or you can choose to place it in the “dinosaur eggs” after entering the ride area.

The ride itself was super fun!!! 🤩 i was super duper nervous whn at the bottom looking at ppl play cos it looks dam high 👀 thn mum was scared also cos she said she’s the only one thr that is of this age (50+) HAHAHA mostly its youngsters or ppl age 30+ at most 😂.

After the ride whn we came down, mum & I felt dizzy 😅 we rested awhile and was ok after hahaha so for those w motion sickness cfm cannot take this ride!

Bud waaaa i love it sia altho it’s quite scary up thr 😆!

Oh btw toliet is at level 1 so recommended to go toliet first before going up hahaha. Cos we went up to lvl 2 for the insta360 rental thn we wanted to go toliet after the rental, the security guard faster stop us 🤣 HAHAHA they say we cannot go lolol, so i ask mum to go first thn i go after. They scared we run away w the camera la 😅.

As it’s my first time using the insta360 camera i like nt very sure hw to angulate it for a better view hahahaha so tip is to try out the angulation etc, make sure you know hw to use it thn you Q for the ride. Anyway there is no time limit for using of the camera so just take yr time!

Recommend to buy tickets via klook as after reach str away cn go Q for the ride! Super easy! Just show the staff the QR code can already!

Overall a 9/10 experience! (-1 cos of the time wasted waiting to download the insta360 app) 🥲

... Read moreIf you're planning to visit Skyflyers in Bangkok, one important tip from my personal experience is to prepare ahead, especially regarding the Insta360 camera rental. Since the app takes considerable time and data to download onsite, downloading it at home before your visit saves a lot of waiting time and hassle. This is crucial if you want to capture immersive 360-degree videos of your ride. Another useful insight is about the convenience of free lockers and "dinosaur eggs" storage options. These allow you to safely store personal belongings that could get in the way during the ride. This is very helpful since you'll be flying quite high and movement is restricted. Regarding the ride itself, it’s quite thrilling and definitely not for those with motion sickness, as dizziness can occur afterward. I also noticed the typical crowd leans towards younger adults, but people in their 50s can enjoy it too with the right mindset. For safety and comfort, it’s recommended to visit the restroom located on level 1 before boarding, as returning once inside may not be allowed. An interesting detail: if you have your own 360-degree camera, you’re allowed to bring it but must have a secure strap for safety reasons. This might save rental costs if you’re a frequent user of such gear. Booking through Klook was seamless—just show your QR code, and you’re ready to go. This also helps avoid long queues, especially during peak hours when the queue can get quite long. Lastly, practicing the usage and angulation of the Insta360 camera before queuing up makes for better photo and video results. Since there is no time limit on using the rental camera, you have ample opportunity to get familiar with it and capture scenic views effectively. Overall, Skyflyers offers an exhilarating experience, combining adrenaline and beautiful views of the riverfront at sunset, making it a top recommendation for adventurous travelers visiting Bangkok.
