Hidden aesthetic Korean fine dining in Orchard|From just $55…
Weekend shopping at Orchard Central
and found a Korean restaurant that many people are visiting lately 👀
Walked in and honestly quite surprised
The whole place feels like a **glass garden🌿**
Sunlight + greenery + flowers
Every corner is super photogenic📸
🍽️ We went for their $55/pax set + add-ons
🥔 Gamjajeon (Korean potato pancake)
Must order‼️
Crispy outside, soft inside, very fragrant
Especially with their special sauce – light and crispy!
⚠️ Best to eat it hot
🍞 Makgeolli bread
Slight alcohol aroma, something quite new for me
Comes with 2 pieces, perfect to share
Must try with the black sesame butter – really good!
💥 Pork collar gui is also very good!!
We also tried the **Makgeolli Flight**
This is a Korean rice wine “tasting set”
A row of small cups with different flavours (some fruity)
You can taste:
✔ Slight sweetness
✔ Slight sourness
✔ A bit of fermented flavour
My overall thoughts:
✔ Food is good (didn’t try the kimchi platter though)
✔ Ambience is a big plus, very nice for photos
💰 Around $70–$80 per person

If you enjoy Korean cuisine but are looking for a dining experience that goes beyond the usual, Kimchi Dining at Orchard Central is a wonderful find. The ambiance is truly special—reminiscent of a glass garden filled with natural sunlight, lush greenery, and tasteful floral accents, making it a popular spot for photos and a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. One standout that shouldn’t be missed is the gamjajeon, a Korean potato pancake that is crispy on the outside and soft within. Its fragrance paired with the restaurant’s special light and crispy sauce creates a delightful combination that is best enjoyed fresh and piping hot. This dish is highly recommended and frequently praised by local diners. Another intriguing offering is the makgeolli bread, which carries a subtle alcoholic aroma due to the traditional Korean rice wine ingredient. Paired with black sesame butter, this bread offers a novel taste experience that’s both satisfying and shareable. It’s not something you’ll encounter every day, which makes it an adventurous choice for those who like to broaden their palate. For those keen on trying Korean beverages, the Makgeolli Flight is a unique tasting set showcasing different flavors of Korea’s traditional rice wine. Each small cup presents a balance of sweetness, sourness, and fermented notes, some with fruity undertones. It’s a wonderful way to explore Korean drink culture in a structured and enjoyable manner. The pork collar gui is praised for its juicy texture and balanced flavor profile—a perfect dish for meat lovers seeking authentic Korean barbecue experiences. Although some menu items like the kimchi platter weren’t sampled at my visit, the overall food quality and vibrant ambiance make this a memorable dining spot. Prices range around $70 to $80 per person, which is quite reasonable considering the quality of food, drinks, and the charming atmosphere. Whether you’re planning a date, weekend outing, or simply want to explore Korean fine dining in Singapore, Kimchi Dining is worth a visit. Don’t forget your camera—the photogenic corners and verdant setting make it a visually enriching experience too.
