Shinobu inspired jewlery dish
When I saw this piece I just knew it had to be Shinobu themed! She's one of my favorite Demon Slayer characters and I love her so much. Should I make this a series??
Painting a Shinobu-themed jewelry dish is a fantastic way to blend fandom with creativity. When I took on this project, I chose colors inspired by Shinobu Kocho's signature palette—soft purples, blacks, and a hint of green—to capture her elegant yet fierce essence from Demon Slayer. Although the glazing step resulted in some streaks, it gave the dish a unique, handcrafted charm that can't be replicated by factory-made items. If you're considering making a series of anime-inspired dishes, I highly recommend experimenting with different glazes and paint finishes to see which effects you prefer. Also, using fine brushes allowed me to replicate Shinobu's delicate butterfly motifs more precisely, which really brought the dish to life. This project not only makes a great personal keepsake but also a thoughtful gift for fellow anime fans. Overall, DIY projects like this open up opportunities to express your love for characters like Shinobu while honing your artistic skills. Don't worry if your first try isn't perfect—each piece you create will always have its own story and personality. Plus, sharing your process and tips with the community can inspire others to start their own anime-themed crafts!
