Clearance Walmart finds: repurposed
New shoes and bags weren’t really in the budget for the Goth Convention this upcoming weekend, but the clearance section and art supplies came to my rescue! I liked the boots fine on their own. They’re about a half size bigger than I wear normally, which is what I usually go for if I’m going to be on my feet all day! So I did a lil crafty project with them and just made them a bit more unique.
The bag is branded for the Wednesday show. Which is cute enough, but again, not very personal, so I added the flowers and painted the patterned pin stripes metallic red and coated it all with the same sparkly paint I used on my boots! Now I just need to wear the boots around bit to make sure I’ll last all day in them!
I’m still excited to actually attend an event as actual attendee instead of a vendor (I don’t think I’ve been to anything in years that I wasn’t working)
I don’t know anything about it, besides it being in Massachusetts this weekend. But I’m hoping for some music (I love pretty much everything except country… but even that I go through phases with), lots of cool looking outfits on cooler people, and some unique vendors to shop and talk too! Plus a whole weekend to get to know my friend a bit better!
