The thorns of trees 🌿 and intellectual contrast. ✨😌
The thorns of the tree and the contrast of wisdom.
When a thorny tree is visible, many people are automatically vigilant. Some do not dare to approach. Some feel that without thorns it would be more glam. But if you look deeper, we will find that thorns never go out to prick anyone. They only stay in their position, do their job, and grow according to their nature. If no one invades or forcefully grabs, thorns never wound anyone.
People are no different from these trees, some are born with outstanding abilities, some have sharp ideas, some have clear personalities, and some have identities that are difficult to imitate. These can become "thorns" in the eyes of some people, although in fact they are only the nature of their owners, not what is created to hurt or intimidate anyone below.
Explore yourself once and for all, that in our past lives, we used to feel uncomfortable with someone because he really hurt us, or because he had something more prominent than us. We used to feel disliked by someone because he was arrogant, or just because he was brave to be himself in a way that we didn't dare to be. These questions may not have the right or wrong answers, but they are a mirror that helps us reflect our feelings hidden within our own mind.
In today's society, we often hear the word "lower the ego," which in some cases is a valuable warning, because an inflatable ego can lead to contempt and pressure on others, but in other cases, the same word is used to demand that someone "diminish himself" just to make people feel comfortable when they are not hurting anyone.
True humility is not to pretend not to be good, not to deny the talent one has, nor is it to make oneself look smaller to make others feel better; humility is to know what value, talent, and hallmark one is, but to choose not to use those things to trample on others; a self-confident person does not have to be arrogant; nor does a shining person mean that he is insulting someone who is not shining either.
Nature never forces all trees to be the same height 🌳. Big trees provide more shade. Grass trees play a role in the form of grass trees 🌿. Flowers are beautiful in the form of flowers 🌳🌿✨. If we try to make everything the same, diversity will be lost along with the beauty of the world 🌏, so differences are not a problem. The real problem is not to accept differences. ‼️
Every human being has only one on this planet. While there may be someone who resembles us in many ways, there is no one like us at all, nor can we be entirely unique. Trying to force people to abandon their identity to meet the same standards unfortunately causes the world to lose the colors it deserves. 😌🌿✨🌏‼️
Being ourselves, however, does not mean that we can do anything at will, because existing thorns, although part of nature, can inflict wounds if used absent-mindedly, as well as ability, power, fame, or even wisdom; these are all forces that can inflict benefit or damage, depending on the intent and how we apply them.
"Wisdom" itself is a kind of thorn, and it may even be a sharper thorn than many things in the world, because knives can cut only the body, but words that claim knowledge can cut deep into people's dignity and hearts, some use knowledge to point the way, some use knowledge to overcome, and some use knowledge to make them seem superior, so that they forget that the purpose of "wisdom" is not to prove that they are smarter than others.
The truly wise man does not try to boast of wisdom; for the more he learns, the more he sees that he has the unknown, so he uses his knowledge to guide rather than judge, to exercise understanding rather than refutation, and to be merciful rather than overcome. The wise man does not have to stand above anyone, but is ready to stand by those who do not see his own path.
After all, the beauty of a tree does not lie in the absence of thorns, and the beauty of a man does not lie in the absence of intelligence, but in the right use of what he has.
. "....Be fully yourself, shine in the way you are, preserve your identity, but at the same time be conscious enough not to use them to prick others...."
Because true sustainability does not result from cutting off thorns entirely, if it is by learning to live with them mercifully and responsible for the consequences of their actions. 😌✨
