It hasn’t always looked like this.
As I sit here looking at our Christmas tree overflowing with gifts, I can’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come. My tree hasn’t always looked like this. There were years when I struggled to provide, when the only presents under the tree for my son came from the kindness and generosity of others.
I work so hard to provide for my babies, to make their Christmas mornings magical. It’s a blessing to be able to do this, but I’ll never forget what it feels like to need a helping hand.
This season, my heart is with those who might not have a tree full of presents or feel the weight of providing for their family. Please know you’re not alone, and brighter days are ahead. If you’re able to, consider giving to someone who might need that extra love this season—it could mean the world to them, just like it did for me.
