For this particular piece, I really wanted to create something dynamic and full of energy. The idea of a character with glowing blue hair and eyes riding a red futuristic motorcycle just popped into my head one day! I love combining sci-fi elements with the expressive nature of anime. Starting with a loose sketch in my trusty sketchbook, I focused on getting the pose and perspective of the motorcycle just right. Drawing vehicles, especially complex ones, can be tricky, but breaking them down into basic geometric shapes first really helps to establish volume and proportion before refining the details. One of the most fun parts was adding the background. I sketched a city skyline with a bus in the distance, but I didn't want it to distract from the main subject.
