Just came back from my trip to Shanghai a week ago so sharing my beauty shopping loot here. Honestly, I shopped way lesser than I expected, hence why itโs a very minimal haul but I guess it can be considered as #mindfulspending then ๐
๐Moody Lens
Initially wasnโt considering getting any because I JUST bought a whole bunch of lenses from OLens recently but they were having a huge promo when we were there (Buy 5 boxes, get 6 boxes free) - yes you read that rightโฆ I had to double check with the staff if she meant the 6th box and not 6 boxes. It ended up being around $11+ per box (thereโs 5 pairs per box) which is not too bad!
I shared the promo with my friend so I ended up getting 3 boxes in different styles - ใ้ๅ ๅฏๅฏใ, ใๆ้ฃๆฃใ, ใ็ตๅฃซๅ ๅนดใ.
Iโve tried a pair few days ago and they were as comfortable as OLens so I really like it and they have quite unique styles too so I wouldnโt mind repurchasing in future.

Popped by Judy Doll just to check out what they have. Ended up just buying their mascaras because Iโve heard a lot of good reviews on their fine curling mascara - really want to try a skinny metal wand and see if itโs any different from the usual wands. Also caved into getting the volume & curling duo because it was marketed to give manga like lashes so that was quite intriguing. Total cost for both mascaras was only $20 too so cheaper than buying in SG too!

Did some small shopping on Taobao really just to test out the whole delivery service. But also had to stock up on my self adhesive lashes because was running out of my current one. First time buying from this seller so not much impression yet. Did try the Tiger one and it was quite natural but not giving the super manga lash style I wantedโฆ These were also only $4.70 for both sets sooo really more way more affordable than the one I got from Shopee

I didnโt do much research before coming to SH so I wasnโt expecting Harmay to be like a Sephora, catering more international brands. There werenโt much there that I wanted and that was also worth buying because most of the stuff were selling at rtp. Only managed to get this Nars concealer which Iโve wanted for a while now but am stopping myself from committing to a full sized one because I still have two more concealers at home. The mini size will do and glad that it had my shade too. Plus, this was only $12 which is a steaaaal.

Again didnโt do much research so I just bought from brands that I was familiar with. Had my mind set on getting anything from girlcult because Iโve always wanted to try their makeup but they didnโt have a lot of stock and the blush shade I wanted wasnโt available as well. Ended up blindly carting out a lipstick from them but look at the packaging!!! love it ๐ซถ๐ป Also bought the atzk lip jello cause I saw it quite often on my IG reels so wanted to try but slightly disappointed it didnโt give me the same wow effect I see online ๐ฅฒ Got an eyeliner too from a random brand cause I needed a new eyeliner.

Miniso in China was so much fun to shopppp - so many things to buy and they had a huge selection of cute sanrio products. I bought their Kuromi puff cause it looked so cute and also wanted to try those thick makeup sponge puffs.

Lastly, Minisoโs Shanghai stores offered an unexpectedly fun range of cute Sanrio products and thick makeup puffs, including a charming Kuromi puff that's both practical and adorable. This haul reinforced a more mindful spending approach, avoiding excess while still finding unique and affordable gems across Shanghaiโs diverse beauty scene.
