Time to Fed my Chameleon 🦗
My chameleon Pepper loves munching on crickets. I ordered 50 and he’ll hunt and grub on these for a couple days.
I’m always so intrigued by how he snaps out his accordion tongue to catch his prey.

Chameleons are unique reptiles known for their vibrant colors and extraordinary behaviors. Pepper enjoys a diet predominantly made up of crickets, which are not just entertaining for him to hunt but also provide essential nutrition. When feeding your chameleon, ensure the crickets are appropriately sized—usually no longer than the width of the chameleon's head. Furthermore, it's vital to gut-load the crickets with nutritious foods 24 hours before feeding to enhance their dietary value. To maintain a balanced diet, chameleons can also be offered other insects like roaches, mealworms, or fruit flies, depending on their size and species. A diverse menu not only keeps your chameleon healthy but also stimulates their natural hunting instincts. Ensure to provide a clean and safe environment for feeding, with ample opportunity for your pet to engage in their natural behaviors. Additionally, always provide fresh water, either through misting or a drip system, to keep your chameleon properly hydrated. With proper care and attention, pet chameleons can lead long, healthy lives, often reaching up to 5-7 years or more with the right diet and habitat conditions. Always consult with a veterinarian specialized in reptiles for tailored advice about your pet's specific needs.
