God despises arrogance and pride, as they separate us from His presence. In a world obsessed with self-promotion, fame, and outward recognition, it can be easy to fall into the trap of thinking too highly of ourselves. Yet, Scripture reminds us to think with sober judgment, to speak without pride, and to act with humility. God values a heart that seeks to honor Him above personal glory. The applause is not for us—it belongs to the true Maestro, God.
Humility is not weakness; it is a reflection of Christ’s character and a way to glorify Him in all we do. Instead of seeking validation from others, let us direct our focus to praising God, acknowledging His authority, and living lives that reflect His goodness. Let your words and actions testify to God’s greatness, not your own. May we always remember that true greatness lies in humility and a heart fully surrendered to Him.
