Embarking on our first Disney Cruise Line trip aboard the Disney Wonder for a 3-night Baja cruise was truly a special family experience. Leaving from the Port of San Diego, we were excited to explore beautiful destinations like Catalina Island and Ensenada, BC. The onboard atmosphere was perfect for families, offering a unique blend of entertainment, dining options, and activities that kept everyone engaged. One of the highlights was the variety of themed events and character meet-and-greets, which added a magical touch for the kids and adults alike. The ship itself felt welcoming and comfortable, with spacious cabins and excellent service that made our short trip feel incredibly relaxing. Our experience cruising with Disney also taught us some valuable tips: booking shore excursions early can enhance your time on land, and taking advantage of onboard kid clubs can give parents some much-needed downtime. The scenic views sailing from San Diego provided a beautiful backdrop, especially as we approached Catalina Island, a perfect spot for snorkeling and exploring quaint shops and local cuisine. Ensenada offered a vibrant cultural experience with its indigenous heritage and local crafts, making the cruise a blend of fun, education, and cultural discovery. This trip certainly sparked our interest in future Disney cruises, and we would highly recommend it to families looking for a memorable getaway with both adventure and relaxation in one package.
