Breakfast Sandwich & Steak
Finally had the chance to clean off the blackstone but it got cold and windy so I only had time for a quick breakfast sandwich and a steak 🤣 with a side of pizza rolls of course 😂
For the garlic spread...squirt some olive oil on a sheet of foil to prevent sticking, s&p helps keep it from running all over, toss in sprigs of thyme & rosemary, cut the tops off a couple heads of garlic then place top down, wrap, and bake @ 350° until soft. Cool, then squeeze out the cloves. Mix with a stick of softened butter and add horseradish to taste, roll in cling wrap then chill to firm.
Using a Blackstone griddle can really elevate your breakfast game, especially when you’re short on time but still want something hearty and delicious. I recently tried a quick breakfast sandwich and steak combo that came together in no time, thanks to some simple prep and smart cooking techniques. One key tip is preparing a homemade garlic horseradish butter spread. Roasting the garlic heads wrapped in foil with sprigs of fresh thyme and rosemary at around 350°F softens the garlic and infuses it with herbal aromas. When combined with softened butter and a touch of horseradish, this spread adds a creamy, tangy kick to your sandwich or steak. I like to chill the mixture until firm, so it’s easy to slice and melts beautifully on hot food. For the sandwich bread, I recommend a sturdy but soft option like an English muffin or a buttery biscuit. Toast it lightly on the griddle to get a crispy exterior that holds up well against juicy steak and the rich butter spread. While cooking the steak, seasoning it simply with salt and pepper allows the natural flavor to shine through, especially when paired with the garlic herb butter. Cooking it on a Blackstone griddle allows for even heat distribution, giving the steak a nice sear and juicy interior. Don’t forget to include a fun side like pizza rolls or your favorite snack for an easy breakfast that feels indulgent. The combination of flavors from the roasted garlic spread, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked steak turns this ordinary meal into something special. This approach is perfect for casual mornings or weekends when you want to enjoy an elevated breakfast without spending too much time in the kitchen. Experiment with the garlic butter by adding other herbs or spices to suit your taste, and you’ll find a versatile spread that complements many dishes beyond just breakfast sandwiches and steak.
