nyc’s newest cafe
Yesterday I went to The Mandarin in Lower East Side/Chinatown! It was such a cute vibe and the pastries looked amazing (so sad I was too full to buy food)
Laptops are allowed but not on weekends. They also have a strict 2 hour policy but if you buy another item you can extend your stay. There’s a decent amount of seating but no outlets. Definitely a great study spot in this area!
Located in the vibrant Lower East Side, The Mandarin has quickly become a go-to destination for coffee lovers and students alike. Its chic atmosphere, complemented by an array of delicious pastries, beckons visitors seeking a cozy place to unwind. Although the cafe imposes a two-hour seating limit during peak times, patrons can extend their stay by purchasing additional items. This thoughtful policy caters to both casual drinkers and those needing a work-friendly environment. While tackling your to-do list, be mindful that laptop use is restricted on weekends, encouraging social interaction and a focus on enjoying the culinary offerings. The cafe's ambiance fosters a creative spirit, ideal for brainstorming sessions or casual catch-ups with friends.
