Faith over Fear 🫶
On this journey… I will fall, but I won’t stay down. On this journey.. I will fail, but I won’t quit. On this journey… I will make mistakes, but I will learn. On this journey… I will call out to you, Lord and wait expectantly, for I am yours 🙌🏽

My journey of choosing faith over fear isn't always easy, and I've certainly had my share of moments where fear tried to take hold. It's a continuous process, a daily decision to lean into trust rather than let anxieties dictate my path. I remember times when I felt overwhelmed by uncertainty, whether it was about my family, my small business, or just life's unexpected turns. Those moments often brought a wave of 'what ifs' that could easily paralyze me. But what does it really mean to choose 'faith over fear'? For me, it's about acknowledging the fear, but then actively shifting my focus and belief. It's not about pretending fear doesn't exist, but rather understanding that fear is often an absence of faith, as some quotes wisely say. When I feel that knot of worry in my stomach, I remind myself of God's promises and His unfailing love. This shift 'from fear to faith' is a deliberate act of the will. I've found that one of the most powerful tools in this battle is prayer. Pouring out my worries and asking for guidance helps to release the burden and fills me with a sense of peace that truly 'faith conquers fear.' It's a misconception to think that a faith journey means you'll never fall or make mistakes. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I’ve stumbled, I’ve failed, and I’ve made decisions that didn’t pan out. But each time, I’ve learned invaluable lessons. The key isn't to avoid falling, but to not 'stay down.' It's about understanding that even in failure, there's an opportunity for growth and a deeper reliance on God. This resilience is something I actively cultivate. I often tell myself, 'as long as I'm breathing,' there's hope, there's a chance to try again, to learn, and to move forward with renewed faith. This affirmation helps me push through setbacks. To genuinely choose faith over fear, I've found a few practices incredibly helpful. Firstly, daily reflection and gratitude. Taking a moment to list what I'm thankful for helps ground me and reminds me of the blessings, even amidst challenges. Secondly, surrounding myself with a supportive community – like a church family or close friends who share similar values – provides encouragement and a sense of belonging. Knowing I’m not alone in my struggles makes a huge difference. Lastly, diving into scripture or inspirational readings offers wisdom and perspective, reinforcing my belief that there's a greater plan at work. These are not just abstract 'faith over fear quotes'; they are principles I try to live by. Ultimately, this journey is about trust. Trusting that even when I can't see the whole path, God is guiding me. Trusting that my mistakes don't define me, but rather refine me. And trusting that with every breath, I have the opportunity to embody faith more fully. It’s a powerful feeling to realize that fear ends where faith begins, and that steadfast belief can truly transform challenges into opportunities for spiritual growth.
