Real friends are hard to come by we are lucky

Throughout my life I struggled with making friends, most the people I befriended I became so close with I hadn’t realized they didn’t care about me. I’ve been stabbed in the back by friends and family intentionally with the intent to cause harm. Having Blanca in my life has shown that there’s good people in the world and people who wouldn’t stab you in the back intentionally. Even though me and her have had our differences throughout the years we always return to one another. Blanca has shown that friendship doesn’t come with a pricy, friendship is something between two people or more that love each other platonically and do stuff for one another without the expectation of something else being done. Blanca has been a shoulder to cry on even when it’s stupid and I’ve been the same for her. Truly I don’t think I’ve ever had a friend before that has understood me so well and I could understand just as well. True friends are hard to come by but they still exist. Blanca if you’re ever seeing this twin I love you and I could never ask for a better best friend.

In the wise words of a random internet stranger “I’m rich in life because I have found you” I hope our future children get to grow up together on the same street. Truly I don’t think I could ever find a more mind person than her she my sister and my best friend.

From personal experience, I’ve found that true friendships are not simply about proximity or length of acquaintance, but about trust, understanding, and mutual support. Many times, I have been disappointed by people I thought were close, realizing they didn’t have my best interests at heart—whether intentionally or unknowingly. This feeling of betrayal can be painful and make it difficult to open up again. However, when you do find that one person—someone like Blanca in the story who has your back through thick and thin—it feels like a rare gift. True friends don’t expect anything in return for their kindness; their bond is built on genuine care and empathy. They offer a shoulder to cry on, share your joys, and stand by you even during the "stupid" moments that might seem insignificant to others. I’ve come to understand that authentic friendship transcends flaws and disagreements because it’s grounded in love and patience. Moreover, true friends enrich our lives beyond words. They become like family, offering a connection that not everyone is lucky enough to experience. It’s important to nurture these friendships, appreciate their presence, and communicate openly. The hope of shared futures, like the dream of children growing up together on the same street, reflects how deeply intertwined meaningful friendships can become. In today’s fast-paced world dominated by superficial interactions, taking time to invest in sincere friendships is crucial. It’s about quality over quantity, and sometimes, a single true friend can make all the difference in feeling supported and understood. For anyone struggling with finding or maintaining friendship, remember that patience and openness often lead you to the bonds that matter most. True friends might be hard to come by, but as this story shows, they do exist and are worth every effort to keep.
