Of course we faced parental disappointment (more so from my parents than from my MIL) but we expected that, we prepared to be accountable and to bear the consequences of our actions! And we’re excited to welcome baby into the world!! 🫶🏻
While I didn’t have morning sickness, I had general nausea after meals or heart palpitations while walking. Water and a small bottle of peppermint oil was a life saver for me with all the new smells and sensations.
Take your time to rest and listen to your body, I was still working F&B in the first 2 months, before switching to freelance clothing live streaming for another 2 months because I was insistent on making some extra money even while hubby was working. However I really felt the toll on my body especially the first trimester, I was extremely exhausted and was taking naps every day, I had to listen to my body as I couldn’t function without my naps. Take your time if you can.
The whole first trimester didn’t feel real HAHAHHA until the ultrasound but I couldn’t believe a baby was really inside me.
If you’re a young mom reading this or young and preggy like me, take your time, there is so many different opinions out there but make sure that you’re patient with yourself, I had a hard time accepting that I couldn’t work the same way I used to and that my ability was changing but have grace and kindness for yourself!
