Jesus is at the corner waiting…..
With everything going on in this world and everyone on this app just constantly talking about “Jesus coming” and the “end times” it got me thinking and saying “Jesus is at the corner waiting” it’s only a matter of time but we all know Jesus is coming! No we do not know the hour, time or day! But we should be prepared for whatever comes and we should get right with God now while he does give us another day to see and breathe because tomorrow isn’t promised! God is a God of second chances, he is loving, patient,& kind with so much mercy and grace for us! He hasn’t came yet because he is giving us a chance to turn from our sins and REPENT! But don’t let it be too late for you or you’ll regret it! I had already talked about “the parable of the rich man and Lazarus” but i believe God brought me back to it to talk about it again! Don’t be like the rich man who died and was sent to the place of torment and wanted someone to go warn his brothers about turning from their sins and repenting so they don’t go to the place of torment like him! His brothers knew and they still didn’t listen or care! They had a hardened heart and the rich man had “everything” but at the end that didn’t even save him because Jesus is eveything and he didn’t have Jesus!! Having Jesus can save you and allow you to have eternity with him forever🩷 Repent of your sins and turn away from them! The world can’t save you only Jesus can!! Don’t let it be too late pls🫶🏻 #christian #biblestudy #biblejournaling #lemonchristian
The anticipation of Jesus' return has elicited profound reflections on faith and repentance in the Christian community. Many believe we are living in 'end times', a notion supported by various biblical prophecies. The story of the rich man and Lazarus, as illustrated in the gospels, is often cited to underscore the importance of humility, compassion, and the recognition of one’s spiritual needs. As believers navigate modern challenges, the message of repentance and seeking Jesus becomes even more relevant. In addition, this teaching invites discussion on accountability and the consequences of ignoring God's word. Engaging actively in faith practices—like prayer, bible study, and community outreach—can fortify believers’ readiness for the future. Understanding that God is patient and loving, we are reminded that every day is an opportunity for transformation and grace. Key themes include the message of hope offered through Jesus, the significance of community in spiritual growth, and the urgency of living a life aligned with faith. This moment calls for heartfelt introspection on priorities and values as individuals seek to deepen their relationship with God. In these trying times, sharing experiences and wisdom within the community can be a source of strength and encouragement as we collectively prepare for what lies ahead.
