2 Months Of Motherhood🩵
I’m officially two months into being a mom… and this version is a little more real, a little more raw.
Nothing prepares you for how hard it can feel some days physically, mentally, emotionally. I’ve had moments where I’m holding my baby and still feel overwhelmed. Moments where I’m running on no sleep, touched out, and just trying to make it to the next feeding.
Things I’ve Learned:
🩵 You can love your baby more than anything and still feel exhausted by motherhood
🩵 Some days the only thing I accomplish is keeping my baby fed, changed, and comforted and that has to be enough
🩵 You start to recognize their cries, but sometimes you still guess and hope you’re getting it right
🩵 Your patience gets tested in ways you didn’t expect
🩵 The little routines don’t fix everything, but they help you feel a little more in control
Things I Didn’t Expect:
🤍 How lonely it can feel, even when you’re never actually alone
