Where are the Christians my age?

They often host Bible studies, social events, and retreats specifically for students. Don't be afraid to visit a few until you find one that feels right. Young Adult Groups at Local Churches: Many churches, especially larger ones, have dedicated 'Young Adults' or 'College & Career' ministries. These are designed for people in your exact age group (18-30s). Check church websites, their social media, or simply call and ask. You might find a whole new community you never knew existed right in your area. Online Communities & Apps: Beyond Lemon8, there are Christian apps and online forums specifically designed for connecting young believers. Facebook groups for 'Young Christian Adults [Your City/Region]' can also be a goldmine. While not a replacement for in-person connection, they can be a great starting point for discovering local events or making initial contacts. Volunteering: Getting involved in a church outreach program, a local charity, or even a mission trip can be an amazing way to meet other young Christians who are passionate about serving. Shared experiences often forge the strongest bonds. Christian Conferences & Festivals: Keep an eye out for regional or national young adult Christian conferences. While they might be a bigger commitment, they're fantastic for networking and feeling a sense of belonging among thousands of other young believers. It's inspiring to see so many people your age living out their faith! It takes courage to put yourself out there, especially when you're feeling a bit discouraged. I remember a time when I was really struggling with this, and it was my own Day 9 of not caring what people think moment. I decided to just be authentic about my desire for connection and stopped worrying about looking desperate or out of place. It paid off!
