Bringing Goku home has been such a whirlwind, but absolutely the best decision ever! I still can't believe how this little furball found his way into our lives. He literally just showed up at my workplace, a tiny, scruffy kitten looking for some love. My heart just melted on the spot. We had to quickly get essentials like a litter box, food bowls, and some toys that he immediately fell in love with. He loves chasing feather wands and pouncing on imaginary prey – it's endlessly entertaining to watch. One of the biggest learnings was getting him comfortable with his new surroundings. We started in one room, gradually introducing him to the rest of the house, making sure he felt safe and secure. For anyone thinking about adopting a kitten, my biggest advice is patience and preparation. Make sure you have a quiet, safe space ready for them, plenty of fresh water, good quality kitten food, and a clean litter box. Regular vet check-ups are also crucial in these early stages to make sure they're healthy and getting all their necessary vaccinations. And don't forget the toys! They're not just for fun; they help with development and bonding. Goku particularly loves soft balls he can bat around. Every day with Goku is an adventure. He's quickly settled into our routines, even if that means waking us up with purrs and playful bites. He's brought so much warmth and laughter into our home.
