It‘s time to change your wallpaper

Many iPhone users encounter issues like "motion not available" or messages saying "motion from this live photo is not supported as a wallpaper." This typically happens because the live photo isn't properly formatted or compatible with the lock screen wallpaper requirements. One solution I found effective is using the SSME app, which lets you search specific live wallpapers (like by entering code 9137) and download them directly to your album. These wallpapers are optimized for iPhone and often support 4K resolution and motion effects, ensuring they work beautifully. Also, keep in mind that iOS versions, especially new updates like iOS 16 or 17, can impact live wallpaper functionality. If your iPhone recently updated and your live wallpapers stopped working, consider checking for app updates or trying alternative live photo sources. Setting the live photo correctly is crucial: you have to select the live photo from your photos app, tap "Set as Wallpaper," and ensure you enable "Live Photo" mode rather than still or perspective. Lastly, some live wallpapers won’t work if you are trying to set them on your home screen because iOS does not support motion on home screen wallpapers–only on the lock screen. Being aware of these details really helped me enjoy dynamic, lively wallpapers on my iPhone again.
