Beginner nail tech looking for tip

Hello! This is my first Lemon8 post and I wanted to start it off by asking you guys about nail advice.As of right now I want to say doing my nails is really just a hobby however I am a broke college student who kind of needs extra funds. I want to say that the quality of my nails does have a lot to do with the products because I only buy cheap product since that’s all I can really afford however I am looking for Better product and materials to use because the materials I utilize tends to make it a bit more difficult to achieve the looks I’m trying to go for.
