Music had always been my escape.
The guitar holding the key to my soul.
The moment my fingers caressed the strings and the amp increased its reach, I wasn’t here anymore.
Drifting in a zone that needed no name to hold it in place.
I just needed to travel to the space.
I knew I was in the studio physically, but mentally I was where I was supposed to be.
Today was different.
The key was in my hand, my fingers creating roads to unmarked places, but my awareness kept me present.
Only because he was there.
His presence a warm reminder that maybe I don’t have to stay drifting as long as I usually do.
There was someone to come back to.
And like a tree being reminded of his roots, I felt his touch suddenly.
But my body remembered him instantly and I remained drifting, but grounded in his presence.
In him.
Then, he was there too.
His broad chest warm and safe.
He felt like….
“You’re amazing. Thank you for bringing me here.”

Y’all I love them so much 🥹
I really hope you guys end up loving them as much as I do.
Parallel is really coming together now and that’s all thanks to the app called My Story.
Before, I had chapters and ideas in multiple different places. Now it’s all in one and it’s super affordable. I’d def tell any author to give it a try.
💕 As always, thank you for all the love and support.
