Do you realize that she most likely is the caretaker for the Octopus. That grabby geeky thing Octopuses do is how they learn about you, it’s a sensory thing. Even babies do the exact same thing. If she is its care taker they have a bond and it probably will never hurt her unless she does something to hurt it . Octopuses are sentient beings, highly intelligent. I wouldn’t be afraid to stick my hand or arm in if it was allowed and if my kids wanted to I’d allow that as well.
