Hey everyone! Following up on my quick first impressions of the new Dove x Crumbl bodycare collection, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what makes these scents special – and whether they're truly worth the hype. Let's start with my top pick, the Lemon Glaze! This one absolutely stole my heart. The scent is a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, just like a freshly baked lemon cookie from Crumbl. What I adore about the Lemon Glaze nourishing body wash is how creamy it feels on my skin. It lathers beautifully, leaving my skin feeling incredibly soft, not stripped. I even use the matching body scrub, which has just the right amount of exfoliation to buff away dry patches, especially on my elbows and knees, making my skin glow. It’s truly a little burst of sunshine in my shower routine, perfect for starting the day feeling refreshed. Next up, the Strawberry Crumb Cake body wash. This one is definitely a close second for me. It delivers on that sweet, fruity, dessert-like aroma without being overpowering. It reminds me of summer picnics and fresh strawberries with a hint of bakery sweetness. Like the Lemon Glaze, this body wash is super moisturizing. If you love gourmand scents that lean more on the fruity side, you'll probably adore this one. It's fantastic for a relaxing evening shower, making you feel cozy and pampered. Now, for the Confetti Cake body wash. I really wanted to love this one, as I'm a big fan of vanilla and sweet scents. However, as I mentioned in my initial review, I found it had a bit of an artificial, almost 'plastic' note initially, which was a little disappointing. The confetti cake aspect is there, but it’s subtle, and the synthetic undertone just didn't quite work for my nose. It’s still a Dove body wash, so it’s hydrating and gentle on the skin, but scent-wise, it just didn't hit the mark for me personally. Maybe it's just my sense of smell, but I prefer my dessert scents to be truly edible-smelling! Beyond just the delicious scents, let's talk about the products themselves. The Dove nourishing body wash formula is always a winner for its hydrating qualities, and these special editions are no exception. They leave my skin feeling nourished and smooth. If you’re considering the body scrub, I highly recommend it for an extra pampering step. Using a gentle scrub a few times a week helps improve skin texture and allows your moisturizers to absorb better. I find that pairing the Lemon Glaze body wash with the Lemon Glaze scrub really enhances the scent longevity. Many of you might also be wondering about other Crumbl collaborations, like the Key Lime Pie or Sugar Cookie scents. While this particular collection focuses on Lemon Glaze, Strawberry Crumb Cake, and Confetti Cake, Dove often releases various limited-edition collections. Keep an eye out for those seasonal drops – they’re always exciting! I'm always on the lookout for new bodycare to try, especially when it combines effective skincare with fun, unique fragrances. These Crumbl collections are a treat for the senses and a lovely way to elevate your daily routine. So, if you spot these, especially the Lemon Glaze, grab them before they're gone!
