my little life in Atlanta lately
1. OOTD
2. Saw this portrait in @homegoods “Women Searches for where men get the audacity” ….because where????
3. Been indulging in facials lately and my skin has never felt better. This is a reminder to book a facial soon. I’ve been getting little massages at the end and it’s been so relaxing.
4. I went out during a weeknight and stayed out past midnight. I almost forgot what Atlanta looks like at night but a time was had.
5. Also stopped by @twourbanlicks, one of my fave restaurants. The salmon chips are sooooo good!
6. If you asked me if I like the gym I would say no…if you asked me on a deeper level…I’d say I would rather eat a denim jacket than go to the gym. I just can’t believe I have to do this for the rest of my life to stay healthy 😂
7. Butttt PERSPECTIVE ✨ I am fortunate that I am able bodied and GET to go to the gym. Sooo me and my friend are doing a run challenge. 50 miles by the end of April. I started lated and have been running 5 miles a day 😩
8. On TikTok, I learned that you can search “frame tv art” on YouTube and can choose from beautiful framed art that mimics a frame tv. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on a frame tv.
9. I really struggle with eating enough protein everyday. I mean I struggle with eating 3 meals a day. How is everyone eating 3 meals every single day??
As someone who's always on the hunt for delicious food and a great atmosphere in Atlanta, I absolutely have to gush about Two Urban Licks. It's consistently one of my top recommendations when friends ask for a must-visit spot in the city, and for good reason! Beyond just the famous salmon chips, which are indeed heavenly – perfectly crispy with that melt-in-your-mouth salmon and a tangy, savory sauce that ties it all together – the entire dining experience is something special. First off, let's talk about the vibe. The moment you step into Two Urban Licks, you're greeted by this incredible industrial-chic aesthetic. It's dimly lit, which instantly sets a cool, intimate mood, but it's also buzzing with energy. There are these super comfortable dining tables and booths, but what really captures your attention is the open kitchen area. You can see the chefs working their magic, and there's a fantastic live jazz band that often plays, adding so much character to the evening. It’s the kind of place that feels equally perfect for a romantic date night, a fun gathering with friends, or even celebrating a special occasion. While the salmon chips are a mandatory starter (trust me, you won't regret it!), don't stop there. Their menu is filled with creative, wood-fired dishes that are just bursting with flavor. I'm a big fan of their proteins – the scallops are usually perfectly seared, and their rotisserie chicken is incredibly juicy. They also have an impressive wine list, often with unique selections, and the bartenders are fantastic at crafting delicious cocktails. It’s not just about the food; it’s the whole package – the music, the ambiance, the attentive service. If you're planning a visit, especially on a weekend, I'd highly recommend making a reservation because it's a popular spot. It’s located in a vibrant part of Atlanta, making it easy to pair with other activities like exploring the BeltLine or nearby Ponce City Market. Truly, a visit to Two Urban Licks is an Atlanta essential for any food lover!
