Only like 3 years late

5/14 Edited to

... Read moreI recently found myself obsessed with a song that actually came out a few years ago—about three years late, to be exact. At first, I felt a bit embarrassed as if I had missed a cultural moment or was out of the loop. But soon, I realized that music enjoyment truly has no expiration date. Listening to this "new" track has brought me so much happiness, and it reminded me that discovering songs late can be just as exciting as enjoying music upon release. It's like opening a treasure chest that others rushed past. This experience has encouraged me to explore soundtracks and albums from previous years more openly and without pressure. In today's fast-paced music landscape, where popular hits often dominate conversations, it's easy to feel left behind if you don't stay updated immediately. But music is a personal journey — embracing songs regardless of their release date can enhance your musical world. I've started creating playlists mixing current hits with these "late discoveries," making my listening sessions fresh and uniquely mine. If you've ever felt like you're catching on to music trends too late, remember that the value of a song doesn't diminish over time. Give yourself permission to enjoy your "new song obsession," no matter when the song actually came out. This mindset shift not only enriches your music collection but also relieves the pressure of always needing to be up-to-date, allowing you to enjoy music purely for the joy it brings.

If you only read 1 self help book
Love a personal development book. All of these I read in the past 3ish years. ❤️The Big Leap I swear by this book it has changed my perspective more than any book I’ve ever read. Whenever I catch myself being a hot mess it’s the best book to go back to remember how crashing out isn’t helpful.

I’ll never forget the day my daughter ran in the house and told me that my son was hit by a car. It’s like time immediately began to move in slow motion. It never occurred to me that the last thing he’d say to me is mommy can “so &so” watch me outside. I said yes not knowing it’d be the last ti

I Only Lost Weight When I Stopped Trying To
I didn’t lose weight by trying harder. I lost it when I stopped fighting myself. For years, I micromanaged every bite, every workout, every step count. I thought discipline would finally make me love my body. But all it did was create fear around food and exhaustion in my soul. When I slowed down—
