Did you go to church today⁉️

... Read moreThat Sunday feeling... it's more than just an hour or two of service; it's a reset for the soul, a chance to recharge and reflect. I often find myself thinking about the messages long after the service ends, carrying that spiritual energy into my week. For me, making the most of Sunday church starts even before I step through the doors. Sometimes, it's about setting an intention, maybe reflecting on a specific challenge I'm facing, and bringing it with me, remembering to 'TAKE YOUR PROBLEMS TO GOD' as I seek guidance and comfort. This past Sunday, some of the messages around 'DON'T GIVE UP IN THE WAITING' really resonated with me. Life throws so many curveballs, and it's easy to lose hope when things aren't moving at our pace or according to our plans. But then I remember scriptures like Romans 15:4, which reminds us that 'everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.' It’s a powerful reminder that perseverance isn't just about pushing through, but finding hope even in the longest waits, trusting in a divine timeline. Another profound thought that stuck with me was the idea of finding God's closeness even when we feel brokenhearted, as Psalms 34:18 beautifully states. It’s incredibly comforting to know that we’re never truly alone in our struggles. And speaking of struggles, the suggestion to 'TURN YOUR SUFFERING INTO WORSHIP' really shifted my perspective. It's not about ignoring the pain, but rather finding a way to honor God even through it, transforming something negative into an act of devotion and faith. It’s about finding purpose in the pain, knowing that even our darkest moments can be part of a larger plan. I’ve also been thinking a lot about the importance of 'KEEP YOUR VOWS TO GOD,' as Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 reminds us not to delay. It’s a call to integrity in our faith, to follow through on our commitments, big or small, and to honor our word to the divine. And when I feel weak or unsure, I remember Romans 8:26, that the Spirit intercedes for us in our weakness. It’s such a relief to know that even when I don’t have the words, my spirit is being lifted up and supported. So, as we head into another week, my prayer is that we all carry that Sunday inspiration with us. May we find the strength to 'persevere under trial' (James 1:12), knowing that there’s a 'crown of life' waiting for those who do. It's about living out our faith daily, not just on Sundays. Let's actively seek ways to apply these timeless truths, find endurance, and build a deeper relationship with God. Here's to a blessed week ahead, full of hope and purpose!

I don’t do church in person I get nervous around too many people, but I do set aside extra time on Sundays for bible studies
