7 Weeks In & Pushing Forward
Seven weeks into the semester, and it’s been nonstop studying and trying to absorb everything. Right now, I have an A in A&P II and a C in General Chemistry—working hard to maintain that A and push my chemistry grade up. It’s definitely my toughest class, but I’m sticking it out and not giving up. On top of that, I start Statistical Methods and Sociology in about two weeks, so the workload is only increasing. Locked in and ready to keep pushing! #collegereflection #firstgenerationstudent #examseason 📚📚📚
How is your semester going?
College life can be both challenging and rewarding, especially during the critical early weeks of the semester. With rigorous courses like Anatomy and Physiology (A&P II) and General Chemistry, students often face a daunting workload. Time management, study strategies, and self-care practices become vital for success. Setting specific study times, like early mornings at 06:00 AM, can help create a structured routine, promoting a better learning environment. Additionally, engaging in study groups or utilizing resources such as tutoring can significantly boost comprehension and retention. As new subjects like Statistical Methods and Sociology approach, it's essential to adapt and prioritize tasks effectively. For many, these weeks represent not just academic pressure but also personal growth. Embracing challenges and maintaining a positive mindset can foster resilience and readiness for future endeavors.
