หลายคนถามว่า “เกาะช้างเดือนกรกฎาคม” น่าไปไหม เราว่าน่าไปนะ ถ้าเซ็ตความคาดหวังถูกว่าเป็นทริปทะเลแบบชิล ๆ ไม่ได้เน้นแดดเป๊ะทุกวัน ข้อดีคือบรรยากาศเงียบสงบ หาดโล่ง ถ่ายรูปง่าย ธรรมชาติจะเขียวชอุ่มมาก ๆ (ต้นมะพร้าวกับต้นไม้ใหญ่ริมทะเลดูสดเป็นพิเศษ) บางวันน้ำทะเลจะฟ้าใสแบบในรูปได้เลย โดยเฉพาะช่วงที่ฝนหยุดแล้วฟ้าเปิด แสงตอนเย็นสวยมาก เหมาะกับนั่งเล่นริมชายหาดดูพระอาทิตย์ตกแบบไม่ต้องแย่งมุม สิ่งที่ควรรู้สำหรับเกาะช้างเดือนกรกฎาคมคือ “ฝนมักมาเป็นรอบ” มากกว่าตกทั้งวัน ส่วนใหญ่ที่เจอคือช่วงบ่ายถึงเย็น ดังนั้นเราแนะนำให้จัดตารางแบบยืดหยุ่น: ช่วงเช้าทำกิจกรรมกลางแจ้ง เช่น เดินเล่นหาดทรายขาว ถ่ายรูปริมหาด หรือขับรถชมวิวตามจุดต่าง ๆ แล้วเก็บกิจกรรมในร่มไว้ตอนฝนลง เช่น คาเฟ่ นวด สปา หรือพักผ่อนที่รีสอร์ต ถ้าใครตั้งใจเล่นน้ำ ให้เช็กธงเตือน/สภาพคลื่นด้วย เพราะบางวันคลื่นแรง เล่นน้ำไม่สนุกและไม่ปลอดภัย ทริคแพลนทริปให้คุ้ม (แบบที่เราใช้แล้วเวิร์ก) 1) ไป 2-3 วันกำลังดี เผื่อมีวันฝนตก จะไม่รู้สึกว่าเสียทริป 2) เลือกที่พักติดหาดหรือมีพื้นที่ส่วนกลางดี ๆ เพราะถ้าฝนลงก็ยังมีมุมพักผ่อน ดูวิวทะเลเงียบ ๆ ได้ 3) พกร่มพับหรือเสื้อกันฝน + ถุงกันน้ำให้มือถือ/กล้อง อันนี้ช่วยมากเวลาเดินเล่นแล้วเจอฝนปรอย ๆ 4) หากอยากดำน้ำ/ออกทัวร์เกาะเล็ก ๆ ให้ทักถามผู้ประกอบการก่อนวันไป 1 วันว่าทะเลไหวไหม เพราะช่วงนี้สภาพอากาศเปลี่ยนไว สรุปสำหรับคนตัดสินใจเที่ยวเกาะช้างเดือนกรกฎาคม: ถ้าชอบความสงบ คนไม่เยอะ ธรรมชาติเขียว และอยากได้ทริปพักจริง ๆ ช่วงหน้าฝนตอบโจทย์มาก แต่ถ้าเป้าหมายคือทะเลสีฟ้าใสตลอดวันและกิจกรรมทางน้ำแบบเต็มที่ อาจรอปลายปีจะชัวร์กว่า
