How I keep my plants alive during travels

I have a lot of plants that I really love and I do not want them to die. That's why whenever I have to travel. These are the things that I do to make sure that they survive.

I usually water my plants once a week so if I'm going to be traveling just for a couple days then before I leave, I make sure I water all of my plants.

I also make sure I leave the curtains open so enough light comes in for my plants. that's why I have privacy window film so my neighbors can't see inside.

I also use self watering pots for my plants that need to be water more often usually every 3rd day.

... Read moreTraveling can be a challenge for plant lovers, but there are effective methods to keep your plants happy while you're away. Start by ensuring they receive enough water: watering them thoroughly before leaving is essential, especially if your trip lasts only a few days. For extended travels, consider using self-watering pots. These containers are designed to provide a consistent moisture level, drawing water from a reservoir, which will keep your plants hydrated without requiring daily attention. Light is another crucial factor; plants need sufficient sunlight to thrive. If you're unsure about how much light your plants are receiving, leaving the curtains open before you leave can help maximize their exposure. If privacy is a concern, consider using breathable window film to allow natural light in while keeping your space private. Additionally, grouping plants together can create a microenvironment that retains moisture and provides companionship for your plants while you’re gone. Don’t forget to set your indoor temperature to an appropriate level to avoid stressing your plants. By implementing these tips, you can enjoy your travels knowing your plants are well taken care of.
