Before & After (Losing Weight)

I know I posted these a couple weeks ago but the before picture is from September 17 and the after picture is from Today, November 15 so about a 2 month difference. I want to note thought that even though I took the before picture on September 17 I did not start eating healthier or working out till October 1st, so it’s more of a 1 month difference than 2 lol. I’m wearing the same clothes/outfit.

I want anyone’s thoughts? I feel like I did slim down some, but I feel like it isnt enough for two months. But I know loosing weight isnt from one day to another so I’m trying to stay positive. I just really want to slim down from here till May for my college grad😭 I mean I’m also doing this for myself and to be healthy but I also have a goal of being slimmer for graduation.

I guess I’m also posting these because I want to see the progress that I’m doing throughout the journey.

... Read moreSeeing my own 'before' and 'after' mirror selfies side-by-side after just a month of focused effort really shows how much can change! When I first started, I was so focused on the scale, but honestly, it's those visual changes in my body that keep me going. I wanted to share a bit more about my journey and what I've learned, especially for anyone else aiming for their own 'before and after weight loss' moment. First off, achieving a calorie deficit doesn't have to be complicated or feel like punishment. For me, it wasn't about extreme dieting but making smarter choices. I started by simply tracking what I ate for a few days to get an idea of my typical intake. Then, I gradually swapped out sugary drinks for water, added more veggies to my meals, and made sure I was getting enough protein to feel full. It's truly amazing what a difference small, consistent changes make to your calorie deficit before and after results. I wasn't aiming for a specific number like 30 pound weight loss face in a month, but rather sustainable habits that would help me feel better and see progress. One of the biggest lessons I learned is that the scale doesn't tell the whole story. Seriously! There were days when it barely moved, and I felt so discouraged. But then I'd take another mirror selfie and compare it to my 'before' photos, and boom – I could actually see the changes. My clothes started fitting differently, my waist felt a little smaller, and even my face looked a bit more defined. That visual proof, more than any number, was my true motivator. It's why I keep taking these before and after shots – they're a real testament to the weight loss journey, showing the subtle shifts that add up over time. Having a clear goal, like looking and feeling my best for college graduation, has been a huge driving force. It’s not just about the external look, but also about the internal feeling of health and confidence. When I feel like giving up, I remind myself of that graduation day, walking across the stage feeling strong and accomplished. For anyone wondering about a 5 month body transformation female journey or a similar long-term goal, setting these smaller, personal milestones along the way can make a world of difference. It breaks down the bigger picture into manageable steps. It's easy to get caught up thinking you need dramatic results or to lose a massive amount quickly. But what I'm realizing is that consistency is key. Even if progress feels slow, every healthy choice, every workout, every sip of water contributes. I might not be at my ultimate goal yet, but seeing this before after weight loss in just a month of focused effort makes me incredibly optimistic for the months to come. Remember, every journey is unique, whether you're starting at 165 lbs or somewhere else, the goal is always to find what works for you and celebrate every step of the way. Keep going, and don't forget to document your own amazing before and after moments!
