PART 2 OF CANDY FOUND AT CVS THATS VERY OLD (2010)

If anyone remembers my 1995 airhead post this is a part 2 to it!!!

My store manager was cleaning the floorboards and rugs and found this!! So this is my part 2 of candy that we’ve found at my store that either is very old or is discontinued.

I googled it and it was discontinued in 2010 so it’s been in this store for about 15 years so it’s very expired lol.

... Read moreHey everyone! So, you heard about my wild 2010 MOMINTS discovery, right? That was an absolute blast from the past! But let's be real, while finding super old, discontinued candy is a fun story, sometimes you just crave a classic, fresh chocolate treat. And where do I always end up for my chocolate fix? You guessed it – CVS! I mean, who hasn't popped into CVS for a quick errand, maybe an Rx pickup, and walked out with a little chocolate pick-me-up? It's practically a ritual for me. My local CVS always has such a great selection, whether I'm in the mood for something nostalgic or trying out a new flavor. When I’m on the hunt for chocolate candy at CVS, I usually have a few go-to's. You can never go wrong with a classic Hershey's bar, right? Sometimes, though, I'm feeling fancy and I'll grab some Ghirardelli squares, especially if they're on sale. And for a serious treat, I keep an eye out for those seasonal M&M’s or big bags of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups – perfect for movie nights! But here's a pro tip from my own experience: always keep an eye on the CVS app and their weekly ads for coupons. I've saved so much money on my chocolate hauls just by clipping a few digital coupons. Sometimes they have 'buy one, get one 50% off' deals on candy, or ExtraBucks rewards back on certain purchases. Those savings really add up, especially if you're a regular like me! It's like finding a little treasure hunt for discounts every week. Speaking of finds, while my MOMINTS discovery was all about age, when it comes to chocolate, freshness is key! I've definitely learned my lesson about checking expiration dates since my 2010 find. It’s always good practice to quickly glance at the 'best by' date, especially on discounted items. No one wants a stale chocolate bar! What I really love about CVS is the convenience. It's a quick stop after work, or when I'm just out and about. It's not just about the big brands either; sometimes I stumble upon unique chocolate-covered pretzels or gourmet mini bars that are just delightful. It's the perfect spot to satisfy that sudden chocolate craving without making a special trip to a dedicated candy store. So, next time you're at CVS, maybe picking up prescriptions or just browsing, take a moment to explore the candy aisle. You might not find a 15-year-old discontinued mint like I did, but you're almost guaranteed to find some delicious chocolate candy to brighten your day. And who knows, with a few savvy coupon clicks, you might even snag an amazing deal!

You have solved a decade long mystery for me ma’am! When I was little, there was this jelly breathmint that I had and I hated it and didn’t like it as a kid and it stuck with me over the years. I know it’s silly to never forget something that small, but it was the taste that just stood out for me. Years go by and time and time I think about it and try to find it but I have had no luck. It’s the blue box that I remember not the red for me. But wow, I cannot believe we got it figured out! Thanks haha 😂😅
