My animal art inspiration
🐾 So many pups are still waiting for their forever homes at Dallas Animal Services. Through my art, I want to share their stories and inspire more people to adopt, foster, or volunteer.
🎨 I’m honored to present three artworks at the Shelter: A Sense of Place exhibition, held at Art on Main Gallery in Dallas. The exhibition runs from June 12 to July 5, 2025 at: Art on Main Gallery, 4428 Main St, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75226
🗓️ Join us for the Artist Reception on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 6–9 PM! Each piece is inspired by my visits to the shelter and the belief that we don’t just give animals a home—they give us one.
This belief is at the heart of my art and guides everything I create.
✨ Adoptions are FREE at DAS right now!
📍 Visit: 1818 N Westmoreland Rd, Dallas, TX 75212

The Texas shelter community, particularly at Dallas Animal Services (DAS), is a vital place for animal lovers and aspiring adopters. My artworks, featured at the 'Shelter: A Sense of Place' exhibition, aim to highlight the importance of adopting and fostering animals in need. The narrative of rescue is critical; every animal has a unique story, and my aim is to share these stories with the public to encourage more people to get involved. Currently, DAS is offering free adoptions, making it even more accessible for families and individuals to welcome a furry friend into their lives. This initiative not only saves lives but also enriches the lives of those who adopt. In addition to adoptions, fostering and volunteering are significant ways to support these animals. By fostering, people can provide a temporary home, helping to alleviate the strain on shelters. The upcoming Artist Reception on June 21, 2025, from 6-9 PM at Art on Main Gallery is an excellent opportunity for aspiring artists, pet lovers, and the community to come together. It emphasizes the shared belief that pets provide companionship, loyalty, and love, reinforcing that the act of adopting is truly a two-way relationship. As we gather at this exhibition, let’s remember the many ways we can help. Attending this event not only connects art with the cause but also sheds light on the animals waiting for homes. Let's continue to share their stories and drive community efforts in support of animal welfare!
