PokePark KANTO 2026 review

I had the opportunity to go to PokéPark KANTO, so I wanted to review what to know, how to book tickets and how to travel in case any friends were interested. 🫶🏻

Poké Park KANTO is located in the Yomiuri Land theme park.

It's about 30 minutes from Shinjuku.

🎫 Things to know before booking a ticket

* Check the opening and closing days on the web pokepark-kanto.co.jp

* Reservations can be made 2 months in advance.

For example, I want to go on April 20 → I have to book on February 20.

* Reservations open at 16: 00 Thailand (18: 00 Japan)

* 1 time limit / up to 2 cards

* There are 3 types of cards. You can see more details on the web.

(When we booked, the ACE card ran out very quickly, so I got the Trainer's Pass instead.)

🖥️ How to book tickets

- We entered the web before booking time to prepare a refresh. Wait.

- When it's time to press the reservation will come up.

- Select ticket type + number of tickets (up to 2 tickets)

- If you are a Trainer's Pass, you must choose the time to enter the Forest Zone and only enter once.

- The main information to fill in is

Name-Surname / Country / Email / Address (Insert Thai Address)

- You can pay through credit cards.

- If paid successfully, QR will be sent to the e-mail filled in. ✉️

💡 Trick from personal experience.

At first, the web froze + the cards ran out very quickly. 😭

But we keep refreshing for 30-40 minutes. After people start leaving the web, tickets will be dropped from people who failed to pay, and we can book!

Suggest to load PokéPark KANTO App. Wait.

Can be loaded from Thailand, but the app will work when in Japan

(In this case, we use the Japanese camp eSIM. Normal use)

🚃 How to travel

- From Shinjuku Station, take Keio Line to Keio-Yomiuri. -Land

- From the station, you can choose to ride Gondola / bus / or walk into the theme park. We choose Gondola for 500 yen round trip (buy a ticket to get on).

🎡 How to enter the theme park

- When you arrive in Japan, open the PokéPark app and scan the QR Ticket into the app first. (Must do before entering the theme park because after entering the door, you have to reserve zones again.)

- If you go to many people, suggest to create a group in the app so you can book at the same time.

- At 10 o'clock, you can use QR in the theme park scan app.

- After entering, reserve the zone + choose the time you want to enter.

* Although the doors are open at 10: 00, many people have been in line since the morning. We got to 9: 30. The line is long.

💳 Payment

Inside Poké Park, it doesn't seem to accept cash. Ours use a credit card + QR scan through the banking app.
