Gym Circuit
2 months post op Gastric Sleeve
I’m slowly trying new equipment and pushing my body more and more !
I’ve always been pretty active so it feels good to get back into it!!
I was so intimidated by some of the machines at the gym, but honestly on the days where it’s empty I just go and mess around with them and I’ve been able to figure it out!! Plus they have directions on them or you can watch a video so that’s helpful too !
Still not trying the stair climber or elliptical but one day !!!

Embarking on a fitness journey post-gastric sleeve can be both intimidating and rewarding. At two months post-op, it's essential to ease into exercise while listening to your body. Incorporating gym circuits can be a great way to integrate physical activity into your routine. Start with familiar machines, like the treadmill and leg press, gradually working your way up to more complex equipment such as the stair climber and elliptical. Many gyms offer instructional videos and machines with user-friendly directions, making it easier to learn proper techniques. Furthermore, incorporating strength training into your gym circuit can enhance weight loss results and build muscle. Starting with lighter weights and increasing them as you gain confidence is advisable. Additionally, joining fitness classes or finding a workout buddy can provide motivation and accountability. As you navigate your gym experience, remember that every small effort counts, and consistency is key to achieving your fitness goals. Set realistic expectations for yourself—celebrate small victories to stay motivated. Lastly, engage with online communities or platforms like Lemon8 to share your journey, tips, and motivation with others aiming for similar goals. Remember, everyone’s journey is unique, and progress can look different for each individual.
