Pretty before makeup… but not really skincare 🎀

I do recommend this mask, but personally I don’t really see it as skincare. I think it works better as a pre-makeup skin prep when you have a date, event or just want your skin to look extra smooth and glowy for a few hours. It gives that tight, glass skin effect immediately, but I wouldn’t overuse it especially if your skin is irritated or you’re dealing with hormonal acne. 🙃🙂

Read moreFollowing up on my initial thoughts, let's dive a bit deeper into this Purito Multi PDRN Collagen Real Glow Mask, especially for those curious about what makes it tick and how to get the most out of it! As I mentioned, I see this more as a fantastic pre-makeup ritual than a traditional skincare treatment, and here’s why I think it delivers that immediate 'pretty before makeup' look. First off, the combination of PDRN and Collagen in a firming peel-off mask is quite interesting. PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is often lauded in the beauty world for its regenerative properties, potentially helping with skin elasticity and repair. Collagen, as many of us know, is crucial for maintaining skin's firmness and plumpness. While a single application of a mask might not offer long-term, deep-skin benefits, these ingredients likely contribute to the temporary tightening and smoothing effect we experience. The 'glow' factor probably comes from the mask's ability to gently exfoliate and create a smoother surface for light reflection, giving that sought-after glass skin appearance. So, how do I personally use this peel-off mask to maximize its benefits for a special occasion? After cleansing, I apply a thin, even layer – making sure to avoid my hairline and eyebrows to prevent any uncomfortable tugging during removal! I let it dry completely, which usually takes about 15-20 minutes. You can really feel it start to tighten as it dries, which is part of that firming effect. When it’s time to peel, I start from the outer edges and gently pull inwards. It comes off quite easily, leaving my skin feeling incredibly smooth and looking noticeably more radiant. It’s truly amazing how it instantly preps my skin, making foundation and concealer glide on flawlessly and look less cakey throughout the day. For anyone considering trying the Purito Multi PDRN Collagen Real Glow Mask, I'd suggest treating it as a skin enhancer for those moments when you need an extra boost. It’s not something I'd incorporate into my everyday routine, especially since my skin can be a bit sensitive to overwashing or over-treatment. If you have active breakouts or very irritated skin, it’s probably best to skip this type of mask for a while, as the peeling action could potentially aggravate things. However, for a quick pick-me-up that gives a temporary, beautiful glow and helps your makeup look its best, this product truly shines. It’s like a little secret weapon for looking put-together and fresh-faced in a pinch!
