Trying the new Beauty of Joseon sunscreen ☀️🌿

💌 Brand: Beauty of Joseon
I tried a sample of the new Beauty of Joseon sunscreen and honestly it’s really nice. It has green tea, hyaluronic acid and ceramides, so it feels lightweight, soothing and super comfortable on the skin without feeling greasy. It also layers really well under makeup.
That being said… if you already own the pink BOJ sunscreen, I personally don’t think you need both because they feel very similar on the skin. One is honestly enough.
After trying the new Beauty of Joseon Dayscreen Moisturizer SPF 30, I wanted to share a bit more about why this green tea sunscreen is becoming a new favorite for so many, myself included! It’s not just a sunscreen; it truly feels like a skincare step. First off, let’s talk about those amazing ingredients. The star, Green Tea, is a fantastic antioxidant that helps soothe the skin and protect it from environmental stressors. For someone like me who deals with occasional redness, that soothing aspect is a huge plus. Paired with Hyaluronic Acid (HA), it delivers that much-needed lightweight hydration without any stickiness. My skin feels plump and fresh, not heavy. Then there are the Ceramides, which are absolutely crucial for maintaining a healthy skin barrier. If you've been struggling with dryness or sensitivity, ceramides help to lock in moisture and protect your skin from external irritants. This means not only is your skin hydrated, but it's also strengthened, which is something I always look for in my daily products. The fact that the image highlighted its "barrier support and moisture retention" really resonated with my experience. And a big win I noticed from the OCR is that it's non-comedogenic! This is a game-changer, especially for anyone prone to breakouts or who worries about sunscreens clogging pores. It means it's formulated not to block your pores, making it suitable for a wider range of skin types, including oily or acne-prone skin. It’s comforting to know I can get sun protection without fearing new blemishes. Now, about the SPF 30. While many sunscreens boast SPF 50+, SPF 30 is perfectly adequate for daily incidental sun exposure. It blocks about 97% of UVB rays, which is great for protecting against everyday damage. It’s all about consistent application and reapplication, especially if you’re spending extended time outdoors. I love how it blends seamlessly and leaves no white cast, making it easy to wear every single day. Incorporating this into my routine has been a breeze. I apply it as the last step in my morning skincare, before makeup. A generous two-finger length amount ensures I’m getting enough protection. Because it’s so lightweight and non-greasy, my makeup goes on beautifully over it – no pilling or creasing, which is a common sunscreen struggle! While I mentioned it feels similar to the original pink BOJ sunscreen, I think the Green Tea Dayscreen offers a slightly different experience. If you’re looking for those specific antioxidant and soothing benefits of green tea, or if you prefer a slightly lighter feel while still getting excellent hydration and barrier support, this green version is definitely worth exploring. It's truly a multi-tasker that hydrates, protects, and soothes, all in one elegant package. If you’re on the hunt for a comfortable, effective, and skin-loving daily SPF, give this one a try!
