1️⃣ Chinese Scholarship (HES - Huayu Enrichment Scholarship)

Scholarships for those who want to study Chinese for 3-12 months without limiting the prior background (but if there is a TOCFL effect, special consideration)

• Compensation: 25,000 NTD / month (approximately 27,000 Baht)

• Duration: 3, 6, 9 or 12 months

• Opening period: February to March of each year

• Highlights: High monthly value, no Chinese background required

2️⃣ Taiwan Scholarship

Graduation of Bachelor / Master / Major (choose both Chinese and English courses)

• Compensation: * Bachelor Primary: 15,000 NTD / month

• P.O. / Donna: 20,000 NTD / month

• Tuition fee of 40,000 NTD per term

• Opening period: February to March of each year

• Highlights: Provide both tuition and monthly.

3️⃣ ICDF (TaiwanICDF Scholarship)

The most complete "pay scholarship" fits the master and major (English courses only).

• Compensation: * Free tuition + accommodation + round trip ticket

• Monthly money 18,000 - 20,000 NTD

• Free health insurance and book fees

• Opening period: December 1 - March 15, 2026

• Highlights: Covers the most cost

• Note: Only apply to faculty / university partners with ICDF (Limited)

4️⃣ University Scholarships

Fellowships issued directly by the university (e.g., NTU, NYCU, NTUST)

• Compensation: ranges from 50-100% tuition waiver to monthly money provided (depending on grade and profile).

• Opening Period: There are usually 2 cycles (Fall Period Apply for Oct-Jan Period / Spring Period Apply for Jul-Aug Period)

• Highlights: Apply with your application. No need to separate government grants. Compete within the university itself.

✅ Language Test Results (TOCFL / TOEIC / IELTS / TOEFL)

✅ Study Plan / SOP

✅ Letters of Recommendation (2 vols.)
