Starting a boutique in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of New York is truly a dream come true, especially after overcoming personal and cultural challenges. When I was told I was “too chubby to be a fashion designer in Korea,” it felt discouraging, but also fueled my determination to create a space that embraces all body types and styles. Launching an inclusive fashion boutique in Soho means more than just selling clothes. It’s about building a community where diverse creatives and customers alike feel celebrated and empowered. The boutique aims to highlight not only well-established brands but also emerging designers who bring fresh ideas and unique perspectives. I believe that fashion should be a platform to express individuality, break stereotypes, and foster connection. For creatives with exciting designs, this boutique is more than a retail opportunity—it’s a chance to be part of a supportive network that values innovation and inclusivity. I invite designers who want to showcase their work to reach out and collaborate. This journey is about building something truly special—a welcoming space where all are free to explore and express themselves. Opening in June is both thrilling and surreal. The support from this community has been incredible, and I can’t wait to meet everyone in person and share this new chapter together. Whether you’re a fashion enthusiast, a small business supporter, or a creative soul, this boutique in Soho promises to be a lively hub of inspiration and connection.
