Does Berberine actually work ?
Berberine is a compound that has been associated with several benefits, including decreased blood sugar levels, increased weight loss, and better heart health.
That’s what berberine is supposed to do for you. Now I can’t attest for the heart health. I’ve also just started tracking my glucose. I see a slight difference in reading but not enough data to be certain of it.
I take this for 3 reasons , for weight loss, risk of heart disease and because I’m pre diabetic. All these things are caused by my weight. So it seemed like a pretty useful supplement to me.
This brand I take also has cinamaon and turmeric , both can help suppress appetite.
So you feel fuller longer. That it does. Sometimes if I take it too long before I eat the hunger kinda is disappears. Don’t take this for that. You still need to eat. Fuel your body.
The bottle says to take it once a day.
I take one 15 minutes before each of my big meals. So three times a day.
It’s recommended that you don’t exceed 1500mgs in one day.
These pills contain 200mg
Consult with a physician if you have any underlying medical issues , are taking prescriptions meds , or are having trouble with weight loss to begin with.
This is an aid to your journey not a quick fix. They’re called supplements for a reason.
I’m no nutritionist. I’m just sharing what’s been working for me.
Again my post are not sponsored. This is based off personal experience.

Berberine has gained popularity for its health benefits, particularly in managing blood sugar levels and aiding weight loss. Studies suggest that berberine can activate AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which plays a crucial role in regulating metabolism and reducing insulin resistance. Moreover, berberine may enhance the lipid profile, potentially lowering LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, essential factors for heart health. Those considering adding berberine to their regimen should consult with healthcare professionals, especially if they have underlying conditions or are on medication. Additionally, integrating berberine with other natural ingredients like cinnamon and turmeric, known for their appetite-suppressing properties, can further optimize weight management. Remember, while berberine can support your health journey, it should complement a balanced diet and not serve as a replacement for healthy eating habits.

I’ve been taking it for a little over a month and noticed some major changes! It’s worth trying out. Especially if you struggle with pcos.
